HISTORY

1931

Corpus Christi Electric Co. was established by Roy Roberts and M. W. Deacon to become the first electrical wholesaler south of San Antonio, TX.
1947

Located at Port Ave. and Sam Rankin St. near the port of Corpus Christi, where we remained for almost 50 years.
1974

Implemented the Product Integration facility to support the growing petrochemical industry in the area.
1995

Relocated to our current location on the corner of Port Ave. and Leopard St.
2000

As the new century began, CCEC reinforced our position in the local electrical market by aligning with and contracting to become the preferred supplier for many of the area's industrial facilities and contractors.
2015

Transitioned to an ESOP and became 100% employee owned.
Now

Constantly expanding our capabilities and continuing to be the area's leading electrical distributor by providing excellent customer service, technical support solutions and stocking the most complete and reliable inventory of products from the most trusted manufacturers in the industry.

FACILITIES

Corpus Christi Electric Co. is located in the iconic and uniquely designed building located at 2323 Leopard St. in Corpus Christi, Texas. This landmark building was originally constructed in the 1960s and formerly housed a Chevrolet car dealership.

Our facility offers over 65,000 square feet of covered area, consisting of both office and warehouse space and 10 acres of open storage. There are a number of conference rooms and training locations spread throughout the premises.
